Mrs. Arland Christ-Janer underwent elective surgery Tuesday to alleviate a longstanding heart condition, The operation was originally scheduled for early October but was moved ahead when a cancellation occurred. President Christ-Janer flew to Rochester late Monday, cancelling his for the remainder of the week. Flowers and a special are to be sent Gn behalf of the college community.
