This data furnished to Florida Development Commission (Mrs. Audrey Barr) 1 -23 Sept. 29, 1967 New College, which accepted ita first students in 1964, has con truct d three residence halls, a student center, nd classroo wing, all designed by well-known archltect I. H. Pet; plus science laboratories, an Olympic-sized pool and tennis eourta. Pive exiating builaings of the former Charles Ringling estate have been compl tely renovated for academic use. A master plan for the development of the caapus is expected to be completed thia fall and enviaions the addition to the caRpus, in three phases, of residence halls for 800 students, a new library, and buildings for social sciences, humanities, and natural scteneea. Conatruction investment to date by New College is $4,235,000, while for the next 10 year $101000.000 will be spent on new facilities.
