NEWS RELEASE NEW COLLEGE SARASOTA, FLORIDA 33578 813 / 355-7131 1 -53 -11/9/67 Ref.: Furman C. ARthur FOR RELEASE: On or before Hednesday, November 15, 1967 SARASOTA--A film on the role of members of ome of the United States armed services in Vietnam will be at New College tvednesday, November 15 at 7:30 p.m. "A Day in Vietnam" is being brought to the campus through the courtesy of the Naval Command of the U.S. Navy. Arrangements for this were made by Vice Admiral W.G. Schindler, chairman of the Sarasota Project Alert. Vice Admiral A. S. Jr., chief of Naval Air Training, said, "Hy personal belief is that this non-political program will add a great deal to your students' understanding of what the Navy and Corps are doing in Vietnam. He have purposely designed the program so that it does not deal the reasons we are in Vietnam but rather illustrates the various roles that our sailors and Harines are playing." The film showing is open to the public although a second showing be held at the Robarts Sports Arena on Friday. Screening of the film will be held in the teaching auditorium of Hamilton Center on the East Campus. 30
