__ NEW COLLEGE Harch 16 196 7 NEWS RELEASE NEW COLLEGE, SARASOTA, FLORIDA FURMAN C ARTHUR INFORMATION SPECIAL TO THE SARASOTA HERALD-TRIBUNE FOR: FLORENCE SWIFT SCHJIBIDER Sarasota -Me.bers of the newly organized Associates of New College werehhonored at a dinner held in College Hall on the campus Thursday night. The Associates are those people who have pledged, over a period of years, meaningful support to New College. Co-chairmen of Associates program are Mrs. Willi B. Kip,. Berman E. Turner, and Mrs. L. Alexander Vance. New College President John Elmendorf spoke informally at the dinner, outlining to the Associates the planned growth of the college during the next eight years. At the conclusion of the brief program, Dr. Elmendorf presented bership plaques to each of the Associates present.
