NEW COlLEGE, SARASOTA, FLORIDA FURMAN C ARTHUR INFORMATION FOi IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 9, 1967 A piano concert will be offered at New College tonight (Friday,March 10) by noted artist Anna Xydis for members of the college community and invited ueata. Miss Xydia has performed with many of the major symphony orchestras in this country and abroad, including the Philadelphia, the New York Philharmonic, and the Minneapolis Synphony. She will perform with the Flerida West Coast Symphony Orchestra at the opening concert next season. Her performance tonight will be at College Ball at 8 o'clock. After making her debut with the Athens Symphony Orchestra under Mitro oulos, Miss Xydis made her orchestral d but in the United States with the National Symphony Orchestra in and she has aincepperformed in concerts both here and abroad 1n major halls. She performs with the London Philharmonic in July. On her program for this eYeninn will be works of Beethoven, ussorgsky, Scr1abin1 Raehruninoff 1 and Chopin -3o-
