May 10, 1966 being held for pix NEW COLLEGE, SARASOTA, FLORIDA FURMAN C. ARTHUR INFORMATION FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE j) Peter W. Odell, director of physical activities and tutor in Spanish at New College has been appointed to the staff of the Admissions Office at the college. Odell came to Netv College last fall to coordinate student acti-vities, primarily in recreation, and also to teach Spanish. As a member of the admissions staff he will help to recruit new students for Net-1 College, beginning with those t.rill enter as the class of 1970. A graduate of Williston Academy in l1assachusetts, Odell attended Wesleyan University where he was a varsity football and baseball player. After graduation he did further studies at Middlebury College, the University of Madrid, and Southern Hethodist University. From 1962 to 1965 he a teacher of Spanish, director of ath-letics and a coach in baseball and football at The Greenhill School in Dallas, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Odell live in the student residences on the New Col-lege campus. -30-
