NEW COLLEGE, SARASOTA, FLORIDA FURMAN C ARTHUR IN FORMA TJON FOR H1MEDIATE RELEASE May 6, 1966 A Hiami teacher, and translator of Russian has been named tutor in Russian at New College for the third academic term of the current year. l.Jalter l.Jedzicha l-:111 complete the year for Dr. Theodore Conce-vitch, who was tutor in Russian from the opening of the college until his death in r1arch. tJalter Hedzicha was graduated from a college in Poland in 1939 but he recently obtained a bachelors degree frorn the University of Miami, majoring in Russian and since bas completed all of his work for the masters degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Hedzicha is qualified to teach Russian at all undercraduate levels. He also has had published poetry t-Ihich he has l-lritten. -30-
