NEW COLLEGE, SARASOTA, FLORIDA FURMAN C. ARTHUR INFORMATION FOR RELEASE ., s, 1 66 Sarasota, Fla.--Dallas H. Dort has been named neH chairman of the Board of Trustees of New College. Dart, owner and operator of a 3,000 acres cattle ranch here, has been a member of the college board since 1964 and served during the past year as first vice chairman. A graduate of Princeton University Hith an A.B. desree and from the University of Michiean t-lith an LL.B. degree, Hr. Dart served in a number of capacities with the United States Government, becoming a special assistant to the assistant Secretary of State in 1947. He is a director of the Florida Cattleman's Assn. and a member of the American National Cattleman's Assn. Dart is a member of the Sarasota Soil Conservation District, the Sarasota County Public Hospital Board, the Sister City Association, and is past president of the Sunnyland Council, Boy Scouts of America, of the Players of Sarasota, and the Sarasota Bay Country Club. He is a member of the Sarasota Rotary Club. Hr.
