NEW COLLEGE, SARASOTA, FLORIDA FURMAN C ARTHUR INFORMATION POR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 14, 1966 Dr. Douglu Berggren, professor of philosophy at New Coll ge, flies Thuraday to Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., for a four-day visit that will include a formal talk, etings with faculty, and clas visit A raduate of Carleton and a former instructor in philosophy there, Dr. Ber ggren will talk to students and faculty while visiting the Minne ota campus on the subject of "Logic of Aesthetic Value Judgments." fle also will eet with the faculty to discuss with them the success of the New College progra in the h anities. He said that C rleton is considering developing its own progr in the humanities, relating the arte to philosophy. Last year Dr. Martin Eshleman, professor of philosophy at Car-leton, appear d at New College and spoke to students, faculty, and guests on the sub ject of autbetics. -3o-
