Almost from its inception she held a deep interest in and understanding of its and goals. The buildings on campus ncmcd for Hrs. Hamilton and her husband are the nucleus o campus life at New College, a hope she expressed at their dedication. Without her friendship and help, New College not have reached its present position. "The trustees, faculty, students and staff of New College held a tvarm, personal feeling for Mrs. Hamilton and tvelcomed her many visits to campus. Both persona:i..ly, and on their behalf, I would like to express our sense of loss and also our appreciation for having shared her friendship."
