ARTHUR INFORMATION FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEs MAY 11, 1967 A 100-member traveling company of the musical group, "Up With People," visited the New College campus Thursday (May 11) giving a performance and staying as guests of the college for lunch. The troupe, mostly college age students, gave a 20 minute musical program and then joined students, faculty and staff for the meal. Michael Reynolds, stage manager for the group, said that the company had just returned from a month-long tour of Panama and after a three-day stayover in this area, will move slowly northward to Washington, D.c., with stops in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. "Up With People," is sponsored by Moral Re-Armament, Inc., and during the Panama tour the 100 regulars were joined by more than 30 high school age students who now have returned to their studies. While in this area, they are scheduled to meet with members of Bradenton's "Sing Out" group. Reynolds said that there are more than 130 Sing Out groups around the country in addition to the three touring "Up With People" companies. ,, During their three day stay in the area, the company is being housed by private individuals. 30-
