Anna Xydis has given everal ecital n ew ork, oth at Town Hall and Carnegie all. In 1959 she made her London debut at TUgt!!ore Hall and since then she has played in n land each season. In England she h sap eared with t c Ta 1 er United States orchestra debut was with the National Symphony Orchestra of ?ashin -ton, D c., in 1943 She will perform wit the London hil rmonic in July. She has also performed with the hiladelphia rch stra1 the c York Philharmonic, and the inneapolis Orchestra. She play with the Florida West Coast ym bony at the o enin of it next eason. Born of Greek parent in ra nodar, South ussia, Anny Xydis left the country of her birth as a child. Vhen her family s ttled in then er extraordinary talent 1 ediately attracted attention. She waB awarded a scholarship at the Athens Con ervatory of usie, graduating at the age of 12 She earned che honor of a debut with the Athens Symphony under Dimitri tropoulos. -more-
