ARTHUR INFORMATION Eig!"tt Junior Coller,e and tuo Manatee Hiph School students have been awarded scholarships to the Colle""e Summer Husic Festival uhich opens next (June ll) One other MJC student and three members of the faculty have been named as alternates in case any of the 10 students are unable to accept the scholarships. The scholarships are a\..rarded to HJC and students are chosen by the faculty. Charles E. Johnson, chairman of the Art and Husic Department, said that scholarships have been a\.rarded to MJC student oboists Hilliarn Star and Lyric Stouder, violist Danica tcBride, violinists Kenneth Bowerrneister and Alan Kandler, cellist Joanne Heerema, flutists Michele Grenoire, and pianist Cindy Garner; to Manatee Hieh School student violist Pamela Berner and strinr bass Lloyd Hims.
