NEW COLLEGE, SARASOTA, FLORIDA FURMAN C. ARTHUR INFORMATION FOR SUNDAY RELEASE: /5--( J A class in life drawing is nm-1 available for area artists at the Ne\.J College Fine Arts Institute on the New Colleg e campus. The class, taught by Mrs. Gail Mead,will be held in the main auditorium of the Fine Arts building. Classes .,ill be from l to 4 p.m. Tuesdays. The fee for the course, which \lill continue until mid-April, is $12 per month. Anyone, from beginners to advanced artists, may participate in the class, according to Mrs. Mead. Since the class will be limited to 30 participants, Hrs. Mead urged those interested to enroll as soon as possible. Mrs. Mead has studied at the Johns Hopkins Medical School Department of Art as Applied to Medicine, the Baltimore Art Museum, and the Corcoran School of Art in Hash., D. C. She has also completed Florida State University extension courses and is now studying \.Jith the faculty at the Fine Arts Institute. :!:his is her third year in Sarasota. Students may begin the class any time, enrolling at the start of any of the Tuesday sessions at the Institute studios on the Ne\.J College \.Jaterfront campus. -30-
