NEW COLLEGE NEWS RELEASE NEW COLLEGE, SARASOTA, FLORIDA FURMAN C. ARTHUR INFORMATION FOR IMHEDIATE RELEASE &-/_ 3 (} d4 Two important educational conferences will be attended, beginning today, by the College Examiner of New College, Dr. John French. A one-day Invitational Conference on Testing Problems, sponsored by the Educational Testing Services, will be held in New York today and Dr. French will be one of the invited guests A total of between 600 and 700 guidance counselors, test developers, re-searchers, school administrators, psychologists, statisticians, and others will meet for the day-long session. Dr. French has presented several papers at previous conferences. Follm.;ring the York meeting, Dr. French goes to the campus of the University of H'isconsin at Hadison, 'iVisc., for a meeting of the Society of Multi-variate Experimental Psychologists. Dr. French is the current president of this group, which is limited to a membership of sixty. Members are devoted to increasing the emphasis on finding relationships in the many variables in psychological studies. He has been a member of the society since its founding five years ago. -30-,
