Borden Jr Chairman of the Division of Humanities at New College. will attend the second annual community education workshop for colleRe and university personnel of the Mott Foundation in Flint,Michigan. beRinning Wednesday. November 17. The Mott Foundation has instituted strong community education program in Flint. The foundation also has given a grant to the Sarasota County Schools to help in founding a program here. Dr. Borden is representing New College at the workshop because of the college's present and future plana for participation in community education. Al-ready the college offers programs in music and the fine arts. and a lee-ture series. Dr. Borden will go from Flint to New York where he will attend a meetin2 of the English Composition Committee of the ColleRe Entranr.e Examination Board. -30-
