Sent to: Sarasota and Bradenton Radio stations Sarasota H-T., Journal, Bradenton Herald, Tampa Trib., St. Pete.Tmmes May 7, 1965 ......_____-FOR RELEASE: Upon Receipt Trustees of Uet.r College gather on campus Thursday and Friday, Nay 13 and 14th for their fifth Annual Heeting to review the first year of aca-demic operation and to study plans for the second year. Two members of the 29-man Board will be attending a board meeting for the first time. They are Fred D. Learey, president of General Telephone Company of Florida, and Robert II. Fite, president of Florida Pmver and Light Company. Chairman Louis H. La dotte \vill preside over the days of meetings which will be held in College Hall. On the agenda are the normal election of officers of the Board and Board Members,appointment of new faculty, and the reports of major acti-vities of the College. A major item to be presented to the board by President George F. Baughman is the plan for continued expansion of the college, which includes additional students, faculty, and physical facilities. The board is expected to review plans by New College architect I. r!. Pei for new buildings on campus. A reviet.; of the curriculum for the past year and plans for the 1965-66 academic year are expected to be presented by Dr. Nell P. Eurich, educational coordinator. It
