NEW COLLEGE NEWS RELEASE NEW COLLEGE, SARASOTA, FLORIDA FURMAN C ARTHUR INFORMATION FOR L DlEDIATE RELEASE July 23, 1965 Hichael von Guttenberg, a native of Berlin, Germany, t-lill join the language staff of !1et-l College as specialist in German language and litera-ture this September. A graduate of Albion College, Hichigan, von Guttenberg t-1orked as a language laboratory assistant, an employee in a German firm, a practice teacher, and translator for touring German teachers before receiving his 1-laster of Arts degree in German from the University of '1ichigan. At New College he will join a faculty dedicated to exploring the areas of languag e interest and professional subject matter which link general and concentrated studies in the Humanities, the Social Sciences, and the l!atural Sciences. -30-
